The location is exactly in the historical center. The room was nicely decorated, but not too exaggareted. It is an old house that was beautifully renovated. The staff was very friendly and supportive. Breakfast was exceptional!

Situated in Salvador, within walking distance from Pelourinho, Hotel Pousada da Mangueira features an outdoor pool and beautiful gardens. great location and very nice breakfast! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

We slept in the ‘quiet house’ and the room was bright and well decorated. Not even in the slightest run down like some of the hostels and hotels we’ve stayed at. Beautiful hardwood floors and extremely clean with fresh paint and decor. Excellent breakfast, hospitable/helpful owner and staff and the restaurant that goes with the hostel has really great food. Location also can’t be beat.
