When one stays at the Hotel Aiguille du Midi they can imagine Chamonix fifty years ago, such a cool experience. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast spread every morning. The dinners were fantastic with the family staffing the floor and making sure every aspect was excellent for their guests, including gluten free preparations. If you want to stay at a hotel that you will feel like a member of an extended family when you leave this is the one for you.

Set in an alpine garden at the foot of the Bossons Glacier, Big Sky Hotel offers a heated indoor pool, a hot tub . A public shuttle service can take you to the centre of Chamonix, which is 4.5 km... This is one of the best hotels i have been, my reservation was for two days i extend it three more days. Family friendly facility and super friendly staff.

We thought proximity to the main road might be a problem, but in the garden the road noise is cancelled out by the sounds of cascading water down the mountain It also has incredible views of Aiguille du midi and the glaciers and there is quick access to trails that allow you to hike up to view the glacier closely Wish we'd stayed longer and would love to go back

Skiing LES GRAND MONTETS. The MBC CHAMONIX MICRO BREWERY. A fabulous stop off driving back from Argentiere— great inexpensive beer and food—the chips are extraordinary. The APA IPA far too moreish. LE PETIT SOCIAL BAR in Graz is fabulous and super buzzy and welcoming! LE BAR LE VERT up the road from La Grange De L'Aiguille is friendly and fun. SEEING ALPINE IBIX galloping across the mountainside.
