Places near train station is pretty noisy and dirty to be honest, so i'm very much happy with the hotel location. There is a 24hr supermarket just across the road and the hotel is surrounded by family mart and 7-11. PERFECT. btw I took limo bus from NRT to the hotel. It's merely a 75 min ride. Don't bother to ride on train as there's no direct route to Ikebukuro. Get off the limo bus at Prince Hotel then 3min walk to the hotel. I took the limo bus at the same bus stop back to NRT. Super convenient.

A bit far from main attractions, but the hotel is amazing! It was my first experience at an APA hotel and I was surprised by how great of a hotel it was. I was expecting a mediocre room and service, but the room, even though it was a bit small, was clean, had everything I needed, the bathroom was great, the whole place was clean, the view from the window was fine and the hotel itself looks amazing. And the price is the best part about it. Maybe it is so low because it is far from main attractions, because, otherwise, I can't think of any problem. And is one of the few APA with open baths for those interested.

Near to go to any where in Tokyo. Near to the train station. Laundry just 1 minute away. So many good food around it. Close to Family Mart.

APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae는 도쿄 JR 수가모 역(JR Sugamo Station) A4 출구에서 도보로 단 1분 거리에 있습니다. 호텔은 무료 Wi-Fi가 완비된 간소하고 실용적인 객실과 대중 목욕탕을 보유하고 있습니다. 추가 요금으로 전용 주차장도 이용 가능합니다. 인근에는 리쿠기엔(도보로 20분) 등의 여러 명소가 있습니다. 혼자 여행할 때가 많아서 아파 호텔은 이미 몇번이고 이용하고 있습니다 그리고 항상 훌륭한 가성비에 놀랍니다. 이 지점은 처음이었는데 역에서 아주 가깝고 신주쿠나 이케부쿠로와 지하철로 짧게 연결되어있어서 이번엔 그쪽을 많이 갔었네요. 다음에도 혼자 가게되면 또 이용할 것 같습니다ㅎㅎ

Our family and I liked how much privacy this hotel provided. There was almost little to none human interactions except when you’re checking in and wanting to use the drink bar area. The hotel provided you with everything you think you would need, laundry area, nice little cozy lobby and resting area on the 2nd, smoking room inside. Most of all we like how easy access it was. It’s only 6-7 mins from Ikebukuro station North exit. You could just walk straight and find the hotel no prob if you exit through the North gate.
