Scandic Vulkan is located right by the Akerselva River and the popular Oslo Food Hall, 5 minutes’ walk from the trendy Grünerløkka district. When we got to the room after check in we were really unhappy, the room was suffocating, with the smell of cigarettes and very different from the room we booked and the pictures. We approached the reception and provided her that we were really unhappy and the girl changed our room and really worried and helped. Thank you very much for the service, listening and quality. Welcome to the Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget – a modern and affordable hotel in the heart of the hip Oslo neighbourhood around Youngstorget. The room, for its size, was well arranged with a big shower. The reception personnel was very polite.

It’s a good size with a kitchen you can eat in and a large living room. It gets sunlight. Everything you need is in the apartment like slippers, umbrellas, and coffee. It’s also very well located near the botanical garden and walking distance to a funky area of Grünerløkker which has nice restaurants and the river. City centre is also walkable. Florin was responsive and helpful to messages.

The apartment was so cozy to stay in. Very modern mixed with the old. Quiet neighborhood but very close to everything, both walking distance and with the tram. Loved the relaxed feel here and would definitely stay again!
