I spent 2 nights at El Colonial and 2 nights at the Wyndham on Rio Grande for a wedding (spending more than twice). I wish I had spent all my stay at the El Colonial! If you go to a big resort chain you get a standardized service with no personal passion, at El Colonial instead I really felt welcome, even after the check out. Amazing staff, from the manager to the housekeeping to the bartender Kris! This is a small business that really does his best with passion. Great job guys!!

Great quiet, cozy room. Perfect for the night of our wedding. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and had a great view.

Beautiful colonial building in the heart of old San Juan, perfectly preserved and very tastefully decorated. The staff and receptionist were incredibly helpful in offering suggestions for dinner or excursions and even moved me to a bigger room
