We were there for 5 days. Everything was really clean, and the house was big. The best thing we didn't realize is that the house comes with a big terrace, but also with a yard on lower level, and there is a dining table and a grill.

Jose the host is great, hospitable and very relaxed and the apartment has everything you need in life. It's genuinely an apartment suited for living, if it was your home, you wouldn't be missing a thing. It's also located within walking distance of more or less all of the livelier and more important bits of Funchal. You have bus stops, restaurants and grocery shops near you. I loved my stay here and would highly recommend it. P.S. if you're a light sleeper, bring ear muffs. Funchal is a very hilly city and the night traffic can get loud. This is not a fault of the apartment as this is a characteristic of the whole city, just a friendly recommendation.

The location is 7 minutes by car from Funchal city center and 15 minutes by foot. It is a new house and it looks exactly like in the pictures. Just note that one of the bedrooms has the bathroom inside the room, with no door between them. So this room can only be taken by a couple.

Apartment Til có sân trong và nằm ở Funchal, chỉ cách Bãi biển Almirante Reis 1.7 km và Bến thuyền Marina do Funchal 19 phút đi bộ. A nice, very clean and modern flat outside of touristic hot spots in Funchal, but still within walking distance (15 min) from dwontown/harbour. Host was very friendly and made very late arrival possible. Kitchen was well equipped with everyhting you need, if you do not want to check out restaurants each day. If you count on the "free private parking" space: it is a relatively small spot (see picture) in the cellar. As soon as you rent a car beyond Fiat500-class you may have trouble in getting there as soon as all housemates are present as well. Public parking space around is very limited. It does not influence my rating of this very cool appartment, but it cannot harm to be aware of it, if you travel with a rental car.
