Dit gerestaureerde herenhuis op Madeira ligt op 900 meter van de oude binnenstad van Funchal en biedt een schitterend uitzicht op de zee, de stad en de bergen vanaf de eigen botanische tuinen en... Nearly everything, really. Nice hotel, nice room, nice people working there, nice breakfast, nice parking, nice patio. I feel that it's worth every dime paid. This was the first and the only case when I truly enjoyed the conversation with a person at the reception who turned out to be a true erudite who is into history and geography.

Eigenlijk alles, het begon met een upgrade omdat we twee kamers hadden geboekt mochten we ook naar de suite. Dit was echt prachtig met een geweldig balkon. Ontbijt was echt voortreffelijk. Gevarieerd en voor elk wat wils. Locatie is erg goed, op loopafstand naar veel terrasjes. Heerlijk zwembad die ligt in een prachtig onderhouden tuin met waterpartijen.

Alexia Room bevindt zich in Funchal, op 8 minuten lopen van Praia do Almirante Reis en 1,7 km van Marina do Funchal, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi, airconditioning en een terras. Lekker ontbijt. Vriendelijke host. Fijn zorgeloos verblijf. Heel netjes.

Dona I Apartments at Botanical Garden bevindt zich in Funchal, op 1,9 km van Praia do Almirante Reis en 3,5 km van Marina do Funchal. The apartment was fabulous! Our host waited for us to welcome us, give us the keys and to show us around. In the apartment, there was everything you might need. Even umbrellas and hiking sticks for sharing were there (we didn't use them but it was very thoughtful). Apartment house has spacious private parking lot. Kitchen was fully equipped and in the apartment we had printed book full of information on where to find what and some local tips incl. overview of restaurants and public transport, that was very useful. Apartment house is close to small grocery shop and in walking distance to the centre. We stayed in the apartment on the highest floor of the house and we had beautiful ocean view. I truly admired how clean the apartment was. I am a freak about cleanliness and this was perfect. During our stay we faced one problem with water supply which was outside of control of our hosts. Even this was solved very quickly, communicated to us transparently and promptly. I fully recommend you to book your stay here.

Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V is gelegen in Funchal, op 12 minuten lopen van Marina do Funchal en 14 km van Cabo Girão, en biedt gratis WiFi. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
