Das Hotel Catedral bietet elegant dekorierte Zimmer in Funchals Innenstadt. Von der Unterkunft aus genießen Sie Panoramablick auf die Umgebung. Location, location, location!:) You can almost touch the cathedral across from the Hotel Cathedral in the exact center of Funchal. I walked to my cruise ship from the hotel with all my luggage! The Xmas market area was right outside the door. The room was almost a suite (had a little seating area next to the window with a half wall separating it from the bed area) and had good mattresses, WiFi and shower, and room for all bags. Doors open to a faux balcony above the street. Breakfast was tasty and has alternative milk options and a fridge full of juices. Luggage storage is easy thanks to reception ladies Cristina and Maria. I had to add my friend to my reservation and the charge was only 15 Euro extra per night (thank you Maria!) Also love the top floor lounge and terrace overlooking the cathedral.
