The location is amazing. As soon as you step in the lobby, the fragrance and the vibrant ambiance of the hotel captures you. The staff is incredibly helpful. They answer your questions even before you arrive. When we were there, they helped out with most of the restaurant choices and excursion reservations. The outdoor dining area of Barcelo Funchal Oldtown is also the host to a live street concert on most of the lunch times. Around the corner, you can taste the best gelato on the island. If you go on a private cab tour around the island, make sure to ask for “Chico the driver” as your personal tour guide and yellow cab driver who speaks more than 3 languages and takes you around the history and contemporary status of the island through his vast knowledge. We will definitely book Barcelo Funchal Oldtown for our next visit to Madeira.

Amazing hotel with a beautiful view over the ocean. Blue swimming pool on the roof, top, you can have a very late swim and a drink at the bar near. Also i was swimming in the ocean every day, easy acess. Very confortable rooms and good food. Excellent position, wright in rhe center. Cu o locație de invidiat în Funchal, TURIM Santa Maria Hotel are camere cu aer condiționat, o piscină în aer liber, WiFi gratuit și un lounge comun. Everything was really great. The room, the staff, the restaurant and the position close to the city center. They also offer breakfast takeaway for who, like us, wanted to start an hike early in the morning. We didn’t find anything we would like to be improved.

Hotel Madeira is a 3-star hotel in Funchal's city centre, close to shops and restaurants. It offers free WiFi access. Each room has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer. Charming small hotel, excellent location, friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast good. Clean, very pleasant atmosphere, nice decor.

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools, one of which is heated in winter period. We enjoyed our stay there. Clean rooms, nice garden, tasty breakfast and excellent swimming pool and beach. Centre of the town can be easily reached on foot.

Hotel Catedral offers elegantly decorated rooms in Funchal’s city centre. It features panoramic views of the area. It also offers free WiFi, as well as free parking. The room size and decor was the best. Breakfast and location was very good too! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Oferind vedere la Golful din Funchal, acest hotel bine proiectat pune la dispoziție unități de cazare luxoase în parcul Santa Caterina. Hotelul are un design mai aparte, mi-a plăcut foarte mult piscina exterioara și felul cum era îngrijită gradina. Micul dejun a fost sub forma de bufet, a fost foarte variat și proaspăt. Fructe proaspete, ceea ce ne-a plăcut tare. Ca și localizare are un view foarte frumos și este în zona bună (central).
