Wonderful! Very cozy and in a great location! A big thank you to Fernanda and Veronica for their kind hospitality! I also want to highlight the sustainability practices in the hotel. For example. the breakfast buffet is served by small portions, you can requests specific items if they run out. There are glass water bottles in the room, as well as refillable soap dispensers. Hamam is only turned on when people want to use it. Happy to see those little steps towards more sustainable travel! The cumulative effect of those actions make great impact!

Housed in a converted Carmelite Convent, this hotel is located a 10-minute walk from Lisbon's city centre. It combines chic, contemporary furnishings with traditional, 17th-century architecture. York House is a beautiful old hotel full of character and charm. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the staff were lovely. We also liked the location, it's a slightly quieter part of Lisbon, but close to some attractions and with a great variety of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby.

We only needed breakfast one morning but it was very good with plenty of choice and great to sit outside in such a lovely inner courtyard The staff and receptionist were very helpful and polite offering us plenty of local guidance. We would definitely stay again
