The location was in a quiet area close to an MRT station. Although it was rather basic it had everything we needed.

I enjoyed our stay here. The staff were polite and friendly. The room we stayed in was so comfy and clean. It looked old but the place was well-kept.

The owner is one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet and helped keep my luggage safe while I went away to another city for a few days. The rooms were pristine and cleaning staff were very detail oriented and considerate in replenishment of room utilities. The location was great and you get to enjoy the best of Chinatown the second you leave the hotel.

Located in Bangkok and with Wat Saket reachable within 1.3 miles, Oldthaiheng Hotel has a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Its very close access to Chinatown, which is really exciting at night. But its also far enough from the noise, that it does not disturb your sleep at all. The facilities in the room were great, and it had everything I needed, with plenty of space. Its safe for a solo traveller and female travellers. The staff were English speaking and helpful for anything I needed.

Definitely a impressive & interesting place with a busy restaurant running at the first floor. Very decent deco and superb for pictures. Room & stuff is very nice. 5-min walk to Chinatown which is a good choice for night roaming and snack.
