The lodge has an exceptional location, offering spectacular scenery views. The lodge was new, equipped with modern amenities that provided a comprehensive experience. Although I didn't have the opportunity to use the outdoor table and barbecue area, it looked great, especially with the large meadow. The highlight of my stay was encountering a wild deer around the lodge, making it a truly unique experience. I highly recommend this lodge for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a memorable getaway.

The Russbachbauer is a family-run holiday farm set is Russbach, 6 km outside of St. Wolfgang. Here, guests can choose between en-suite rooms and self-catering apartments with panoramic views of Mount Rettenkogel. The farm is home to cows, deer, rabbits, goats, and ponies.

Apartment was nice and clean with a beautiful mountain view. Nearby Sankt Wolfgang and easy to visit for example Hallstatt. Lot of animals and you can feed and pet them. The whole family was so helpful and nice!

The village center is a 10-minute walk downhill. This farm stands for regionality, seasonality and closeness to nature. The family is involved in a program to preserve rare animals and attaches great importance to ensuring that the products for the breakfast buffet come from farms that also take part in this project.

Property is absolutely adorable, every detail was thought of. Many animals on the property (goats, chickens, bunnies, donkeys etc.). View is amazing! Our room and balcony were spacious. It is very quiet and you can truly enjoy the sounds of the nature. It's on the hill, but not a far walk from the town centre and restaurants (maybe 10 min walk). Town is nice and quiet but with enough restaurants and things to do if you don't want to leave. Property is small (just 4 rooms or so), so breakfast is partially a buffet - cold cuts are brought to your table, and the owner will ask if you want eggs. Nice selection for breakfast to include leaf teas! Owner is very friendly and gave us good recommendations for the area. We ended up staying an extra day! We will definitely be back in the area (already visited 3 times)!
