Located close to Hverir geothermal area and Myvatn Nature Baths (well worth a visit). The restaurant here is superb and the buffet breakfast the best we had in Iceland with meats and cheeses etc. from the farm (there is a very strong farm to plate ethic going on here). The room itself was well sized but cozy and warm (it was minus 13 in the morning so this was important!). Plus you can go and pet the cows and calves!ScottYoung couple

The staff is very friendly. The best value for money accommodation we had in Iceland

The hot pots were great for soaking, and a view of the farm animals and the older historic farm house. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with art work made by a great aunt of the family. The accommodation itself is across the road from the farm. The farm and the breakfast area is in the farm area. We were able to see the cows and the milking of the cows in the morning. Room was spacious, parking is across from the room. There are a couple of attractions closeby and also some small restaurants Breakfast choice of food was reasonable.AshokYoung couple
