The location was excellent. It was very private, the house located about 200 yards back from the road, and so was very quiet and felt secluded. There is a farmhouse next to the cottage, but there was no noise or any disturbance from this. Lovely garden area with a stream running near the house. Plenty of space in the house.
Gorgeous farm house, nicely updated and decorated. Modern bathrooms and comfy beds. Clean, spacious with everything you need. Lovely garden and views to the countryside. Highly recommend if you've got a large group, huge kitchen diner with room for everyone. Will definitely stay again.
Nice location and atmosphere of the old farm house. Excellent view of the mountains. Delicious breakfast and comfy lounge.
Amazing period property done up with all the mod cons. Everything you could need was there, even a pub serving great food just over the road. The farm house was immaculate, the beds comfy and a lovely welcome tray in the kitchen. We loved all the quirky details in this 17th century farmhouse, only a ten minute walk along the river to the centre of town. Barbara couldn’t have done enough to help with any questions I had.
Very welcoming hosts of a traditional period farmhouse B&B set in a rural location. Ideally located for visiting Hadrian’s wall and the local area. Had a very comfortable peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent hearty breakfast. The host very kindly booked us in the local pub which was a short walk away down the hill. Easy to find just look for the pink house!
My room was lovely and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was superb, with a good choice of cereals, fruit, cooked and toast etc. Jean was very welcoming and left little thoughtful biscuits and cakes for treats. I would recommend it highly for a homely stay in a comfortable farmhouse style.
The location is superb - nestling at the foot of several mountains; the farmhouse is an excellent blend of rustic and comfort. Breakfast is excellent with good choice; the room was large enough and very comfortable.
The location in a very rural setting ,style of property in an very comfortable old farm house, with huge rooms and bathrooms .Very comfortable sitting room on the ground floor looking out over the river and fields.
Great quirky and stylishly updated stone farmhouse. Superb overnight stop on way to Scotland. Just off M6 but in rural and quiet village, terrific breakfast, great value for money.
The property has been lovingly decorated and it’s full of old farmhouse style character. Everything has been thought of that you need with an Ideal kitchen and bathroom and very comfy lounge area. It’s also down a side alley meaning we couldn’t hear a thing even with the widows wide open for the summer heat. Sedbergh is a cracking location with brilliant pubs coffee shop and amenities nestled in stunning countryside. The only downside was that it wasn’t available for more than 2 nights! We shall have to come back.
