This was an unexpected stay in the area after car troubles but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! We stumbled on this farm in a panicky effort to find pet-friendly accommodation and I still can't believe our good fortune. The farm, and everyone on it, are fantastic. We were looking for a room for 1 night and ended up staying a lot longer. The cottages are incredibly comfortable, spacious, spotless, thoughtfully decorated and well kitted out in all rooms - the electric blankets, log fires, hot tub and freshly baked bread were amazing! There is plenty of space for the family, friends and furbabies. The setting is pretty spectacular - what a beautiful part of the world - and there are plenty of things to do within the property including fishing, hiking and birdwatching. Take the time to find the cranes, they're beautiful! A very big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our stay so special. Deborah, in particular, was fantastic and really saved the day, I cannot speak highly enough of her and everything she has done for us - it is so encouraging to know that there are such kind people in this world, who will drop everything to come and rescue complete strangers. Do yourself a favour and book one of the cottages, it is 100% worth it!!

Thyme Out is a true gem! The self-catering loft rooms are cozy, comfortable, and immaculately decorated. The staff is very friendly and obliging and they have the sweetest dogs who politely come to visit you now and then. The location and the views that come with it are to die for! Secluded enough that Thyme Out feels like a true getaway but close enough to Howick and the local restaurants and craft markets that there is plenty to keep you busy with. I will definitely be booking Thyme Out for future escapes to the Midlands.

Penwarn Farm Lodge localiza-se a 26 km de Himeville Museum e dispõe de um jardim, comodidades para churrascos e acomodações com varanda e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. The Penwarn manor was a wonderful, clean 16 sleeper self-catering house for a family stay in scenic Underberg.

O Beverley Country Cottages está situado em Dargle, no interior de Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands, a 50 km de Pietermaritzburg. Está disponível estacionamento privado gratuito no local. Lovely large room in old farm house with great bathroom. Tons of atmosphere with beautiful farm surroundings. Were served a delcious homecooked dinner and breakfast in front of the fireplace by very friendly and profocient staff. Highly recommended.

Communication beforehand was excellent. Lovely Main House to stay in. Clean rooms, bathrooms etc. A lot to keep the kids busy with and beautiful scenery. Will definitely recommend this place if you are heading to Notties.

This guest house offers award-winning cuisine in the tranquil setting of KwaZulu Natal’s Drakensberg Mountains, right on the border of Giants Castle Nature Reserve. The lodge & staff were inviting, friendly and pleasant from the moment we arrived and were greeted by smiley faces to the moment we paid our bill & headed home. The food was exceptional and we adored the chefs speech and group set up. The room was cosy and warm with the fire burning. A perfect retreat making you feel refreshed & well looked after
