I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.

We felt so welcomed and well looked after by the owner and Charl. We love everything they did at the cottage and the beautiful garden. All the details are being taken care of. It's a pity we only stayed for one night this time but we will surely return to enjoy the garden and play with the dogs.
