Honestly staying here was like staying in a boutique hotel. You would never guess from the neighborhood and the outside of the hotel just how comfortable and nicely furnished the rooms are. I needed no earplugs here: the area outside is quiet (just beyond the main tourist area) and the soundproofing insides is outstanding. Bonuses: family run (that extra touch), free parking (but maybe you want to park on the street the first night until you figure out the logistics) and a balcony, where you can dry clothes (don't worry: the neighbors across the street are doing this, too). The sunset strip is about a 15 minute walk.

I was working from here and sadly got in trouble a bit with work as the wifi was too weak to take meetings. Definitely don’t stay here if you need strong internet. Otherwise, it was absolutely lovely and clean, and the balcony is incredibly spacious and awesome for Instagram photo ops. It’s about a 10-20 minute walk to the beach.

The staff is soooo helpful and polite. They provided us early check in and even let us check out a little late. They stored our luggage before and after checkout. The staff was very helpful in ways such as helping as park our vehicle and providing hot drinking water.

The whole experience felt like a 'home away from home'. The room, hostel and staff provided a warm welcome and delivered a great value experience for a budget stay. The facilities were basic but modern and clean, and the staff were exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again!
