We had a great stay at Alma - very comfortable, good breakfast, the room was delightful. Allan was a wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. The Maison was a bit too far out of the centre but as we are good walkers we managed.

The hostess let you fell like home and so much more! She papers you with her passion for hosting, she has a very personal approach what i loved very much. The breakfast is al you need and then extra. Did quite a bit of investigation on the accommodation for our stay in BOD and eventually chose Maison Fernand. And what a great pick it turned out to be - beautiful stay, great hosts and excellent location! Ahmed and his spouse were both welcoming, approachable and happy to advise on the on the property or give recommendations for sightseeing. Maison Fernand lies in a lively old town area but on a smaller, more quiet street and can easily be accessed by car. Comfortably close to cafes, grocery shops etc. Our room was Rosa Bonheur - the one with a balcony. It has tall ceilings, large opening windows and beautiful seating area. Bathroom is very spacious and connects to the room via area to keep your belongings, spare clothes, etc. Each morning tasty breakfast with local produce is delivered right at your door (or to a rooftop common balcony-area depending on your preference). There's also a coffee-maker in the room grinding beans that are especially selected by the hosts and that produce a great brew! The hosts really have taken the extra effort by thinking through and taking care of many aspects that will make visitors stay in Maison Fernand a special and memorable! If you're looking for quality stay in BOD with more local feel compared to well-known global hotel chains, then look no further! : )
