We had a terrific stay at Dunmhor Guest house! It's a very nice place with an extremely cozy atmosphere. Stephen and Lesley are amazing hosts, who took great care of us. Their personal touches with home cooked breakfast (many different options) and daily fresh milk for tea are splendid. They also gave us personal advice on hikes in the region. We would highly recommend Dunmhor Guest house and this Exceptional rating on booking.com is very well deserved!

Our host were very kind and welcoming. We were proposed a lovely Scottish breakfast. The localisation of Avondale House is quite convenient for a stop during a road trip in Scotland.

Excellent property in all respects! The hosts greeted us warmly and showed us to room and fully explained shower and amenities. The property also has a lovely lounge that can be used in addition to the guest room. The breakfast was delicious - clearly made by a trained chef - the eggs Benedict’s and wild mushroom bruschetta were wonderful. There were also excellent extra luxury touches everywhere, sparkling water in the room, nice tea cakes/treats in the room, homemade Scottish tablet and then homemade chocolate/fudge upon departure. Everything was also new/recently redone so all fresh and bright. This was my absolute favorite B&B not just for this trip, but that we’ve ever stayed at.

Meanwhile, the villa is close to the tourist spots, like the highland wildlife park, Loch Morlich Watersports. There are some walk trails within walking distance. The villa was sparkling clean. Shaun, the host was so nice to allow us to early check-in as we were a group with kids and elderly. He was also responsive to our enquiries. We enjoyed so much during the stay.
