On the long and winding sandy road through an almost mythical forest you reach the beautifully renovated old "tanya" that is lazy days. The apartment was cool and spotless, plenty of room for a family of four, even for a longer stay. The luscious flora and fauna that surrounds the place shields it from the stresses of everyday life. A perfect place to relax.

The guest house was very quiet, pleasant, and family-run. We were in Debrecen for the Campus Festival at the end of July 2022. We were looking for cheap but comfortable accommodation close to the city centre and with good access to public transport. This accommodation exceeded our expectations, and if we ever return to Debrecen, we will definitely stay here again. The guest house is in a family house in a quiet street, it belongs to a family and you can meet all its members in the courtyard of the house at the daily base. They are all very nice, give you good tips for food and excursions in the area and speak several languages. As we didn't speak Hungarian, we were looking for international accommodation - we didn't expect the staff to speak Slovak at all and that made us very happy! A native language in the middle of a foreign city in another country. We got an even better apartment than the one we booked because we stayed in the hotel for several days. We arrived a bit earlier than we had originally stated - it was no problem for them and they didn't keep us waiting and had the room ready right away. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need - air conditioning, TV, hairdryer, nice bathroom. They kept our room clean all the time. As we were at the festival, we arrived at the accommodation only late in the evening and hit the streets again only in the afternoon.

This accommodation is an excellent place to be. Does have everything you need, nothing missing, and can accommodate large families as well. Its situated on a quiet street, meaning no traffic will disturb your sleep. Enough space to accommodate a car or two, in the yard. The owners are exceptionally friendly, and helpful and the town center is not far to reach. I recommend to anybody who wish a comfortable stay in Debrecen.

We have stayed here for 2 nights and will come back for sure. The location is central, 15 minutes walk to the Aquaticum, 10 minutes to the city centre. There is also a mall nearby (5 mins walk) and a bar and restaurant just across the street. The staff is very nice and friendly and they speak good english. The rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with everything you could need. There is also a small terrace for every room which is amazing. A big plus is the closed parking lot, which is actually across the street from the pension, but you will receive every details you need when you check in. We highly recommend the breakfast as well which consists in everything one could want: eggs, ham, butter, jam, vegetables, sausages, cereals, good coffee etc. Overall the price to quality ratio is very good and we will return here for sure every chance we get.
