The owners are super friendly, full of useful tips and offer valuable advice and just general insight about Japan and Kyoto. Every morning they prepare traditional Japanese breakfast for free. everything! the guy at the reception is the kindest! the guesthouse is clean and cozy! I totally recommend it! I had a private room with futon and the bathroom was shared, but bathrooms are so clean that it wasn’t a problem at all! Also there’s everything you need, towels, soap, shampoo etc. there are also some snacks in the common room:) last thing, position is great as well!

English communication is good. The room is big and beautiful. There is a washing machine. Very nice personal, the owner is so kind asking whether we will need a ride to the Kyoto train station. The tatami + floor heating + Japanese floor mat is so comfortable even in winter! I really enjoy the shared bathing. (You still bath privately, no worry.)
