Lovely cottages. Beautiful pool area to watch the sunset. Pedro and his wife were the best hosts - with great local recommendations for everything. Location with car is ok (island anyway is small;) - if w/o car check how to get (did not notice supermarkets near). Quiet! as inside so outside. Good, soundproof and large rooms (new and modern). Eddy, the host, made our stay perfect. He arranged a diner outside specially for us and made the most amazing Italian coffee when we woke up. He even brought us up the hill so we could catch the bus to Funchal. We wished we could have stayed longer.
