We stayed for 5 nights and it was great! The location was perfect just next to the gardens, the room was very clean (cleaning every other day), breakfast was quite basic but a a good start for the day, very reasonable price and most importantly the staff was very kind and helped with the parking situation in Funchal. Definitely worth it and we would love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

Location: the hotel is located high enough having a great view of the sea and the city from the rooms and the restaurant. A fairly quiet place in the mornings and evenings and at the same time a few steps from the cable car and Monte Palace park. Only 20 min from the airport by car and 10 min to Funchal city center. Room: I would rather call it a medium-sized (and very cozy) apartment than a room :). With a spacious living room and a very good kitchen. Everyday cleaning was very good as well. Food: we had breakfasts and dinners in the hotel. The food was very very tasty. And presentation was nice as well :) Service: it is just perfect. Upon check-in, we were treated to wine, escorted to the room and answered all our questions in detail. Another bottle of vine and some cookies were waiting for us in the room. All team members are always really friendly, eager to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. We felt like we were visiting some old friends. We will definitely try to book this hotel again when we come to Madeira next time.

We had a wonderful stay at Belvedere boutique. Comfortable room, everything that we needed was available and of course the amazing view over Funchal. Paulo is the kindest of host.

I absolutely loved the closure of the Funchal downtown. In addition, Margarita and Rita were super helpful and kind - I felt truly like home. Also the Quinta is quiet place to stay and has a wonderful garden for morning walks. Breakfast was also always fresh and super delicious! The place itself made my vacation even better.

Beautiful apartment just outside the center of Funchal. The host was very kind and their dog is lovely. The kitchenette was great to cook our own food. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Funchal.

Very clean property, nice area with easy access to nearby restaurants and bars. This would make for a great base for someone looking to spend most of their time outside and just wants somewhere to sleep and relax for the evening.

Nice rental, modern and cosy. Approx. 20-30 minutes walk from old town and center of Funchal. Going back is more tricky as you go up steep hills:) We rather took the bus back (10 minutes from center with many bus options) or sometimes ordered Bolt. Safe and peaceful neighborhood, mini market and bakery just around the corner. Host was very helpful with everything.

The location, centrally located with easy access to central town but quiet enough not to be disturbed at night. The lovely rooftop which has the possibility of having bbq in Summer. All fabulous facilities, to cook, wash and dry clothes etc.

This place exceeded our expectations! Apartment is clean and beautiful, well taken care of. Our room had private bathroom which was a huge plus. Location is another advantage of this place. Walking distance to all surrounding attractions, numerous restaurants, bars, shops etc. Very easy check in. Catarina helped us with everything and was there in case you needed anything. Totally recommended!!! 👌🏻🩷
