During our stay at Encanto do Sol in Madeira, Juan and Catia, our wonderful hosts, made our experience truly exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality were evident in every aspect of our stay. Notably, Juan's gesture of allowing us to freely pick fruits and vegetables from their garden, along with the delight of collecting freshly laid eggs from their chickens, added an extra layer of charm to our visit. The house itself, Encanto do Sol, stands out as one of the most beautiful places we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. However, what truly took our breath away was the panoramic view of the entire bay. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was a privilege, and we often found ourselves savoring aperitifs on the terrace, surrounded by the lush beauty of the garden. Speaking of the garden, it's a magical place in its own right. From the banana grove to the various other plants, it added to the overall enchantment of the property. It's a serene oasis where you can unwind and connect with nature. One of the practical advantages of Encanto do Sol is its convenient location. The charming village and the beautiful beach are just a 10-minute stroll away. This accessibility made our daily explorations effortless, yet we were always excited to return to the comfort of Encanto do Sol at the end of the day. During our stay, we used the house as our base to explore the entire island, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Should we have the opportunity to return to Madeira, there's no doubt in our minds that we would choose Encanto do Sol again. It's a place that captures the essence of Madeira's beauty and hospitality. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. From well-appointed rooms to a fully equipped kitchen, it's a home away from home.

From 600 meters high the view is spectacular. The staff - meaning our lovely landlady Leontina. - was so kind and helpful. And charming. Bungalow itself was roomy and cosy and quiet and just perfect for us two. Kitchen was very well equipped! Going back some sunny day.

Appartement refait à neuf, très propre. Très bon emplacement, au calme, avec une superbe vue sur la mer. Agréable terrasse. La place de parking privée est un vrai plus. Lit confortable. Accueil charmant.

Aurelia and Alberto made us truly feel at home. The house is very cozy and clean, with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. If you need anything, the hosts will go above and beyond to help you and give useful advice to get around the island. We were always looking forward to go back to our accommodation after a long day of discovering the Madeira. The hosts were so sweet that we always received a cup of coffee, tea or a cocktail any time we crossed them. The house itself is located in a very calm area, which is easily accessible by car. We will for sure come back again if we return to Madeira! Thank you

Owner and her daughter were really nice to us. Kitchen was fully equipped. Balcony is really big and you can spend nice evening there. We spent one week at apartment and had no problem. We highly recommend this residence.
