This property is right out of a story book. Perfectly located along the Douro River with views that go in for miles. The rooms are very spacious and well adorned. We also enjoyed speaking with the proprietor, who was willing to share his experience of moving to Portugal to start a business. All around, this was one of our favorite stays in the region.

The facilities are great. The hosts are very caring and provided us with eggs, fruit, pastries and wine. The accessibility of places of tourist interest in the Douro Valley is very good.
