Brilliant place to stay. Very affordable and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Breakfast is great and is enjoyable to start the day. My favourite thing is there’s a box with supplies left over from previous hikers that you can take for free. Highly recommended.

Bories is a picturesque property for travellers to spend a day or two close to Puerto Natales on their way to Torres del Paine. The stunning views of the mountains, a lake and a llama add to the vibe. But, what really stands out is the hospitality of Carlos and his wife. It has all the essence of a family owned and run boutique. Carlos spent over 3 hours, during our time there, helping us plan our activities in great detail across the park. As a bonus, do check out the stunning pictures he has shot of the region for the last 20 years.

Boasting city views, Hostal Host Patagonia is situated in Punta Arenas, around 2.8 km from Playa Colon. Featuring sea and garden views, this guest house also includes free WiFi. Fabian was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Although he doesn't speak much English he sent a list by WhatsApp of recommended restaurants, places of interest, etc And used Google translate frequently. Large comfortable warm room with clean ensuite. Lots of extra toiletries, hair-dryer etc. It is an easy 20 min downhill walk to the town center. And Fabien was only too willing to come and give us a lift (ride) back after dinner. Enjoyed our moments of 80's in-car karaoke!

Offering free bikes and city view, Casa de la Patagonia is set in Puerto Natales, 100 metres from Municipal Museum of History and 200 metres from Puerto Natales Main Square. I liked everything about this hotel. It is excellently located, very comfortable, clean, neat, tidy and quiet. Simple but with everything someone needs. The room was spacious enough, as well as the bathroom. The heaters worked perfectly, both the bedroom and bathroom had widows to open for fresh air. The staff was very helpful with everything that I needed or asked, always available. There is a phone in the room if you need to contact reception which I found extremely convenient. The breakfast was much better than I expected, with variety every morning. I loved that they offered a daily cleaning service (which I turned down because I want to spare an effort to cleaners) but it's nice to know that you have this option too.

Located in Punta Arenas, Hospedaje Isla Magdalena features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Host personally cooked and served us breakfast (pancakes, English muffins and jam/butter/caramel spread). Property grounds were stunning.

Hostal América is a brand new Mediterranean-style building, located in Puerto Natales and run by its owners. The property also offer free Wi-Fi throughout the property and parking on site. The owner was amazing! She was so kind, welcoming, and gracious. She let us leave our bags and hang out while we waited for a bus. She was so understanding and lovely!! All the staff were. Also there is a little cat that made our trip :)) Also felt very safe.

Hostal Fernando de Magalhaes offers accommodation in the district of Cerro de la Cruz in Punta Arenas. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Lovely staff went out of thier way to make a very late check in manageable and the breakfast was excellent.

Set in Punta Arenas and only 2 km from Playa Colon, La Casa Guesthouse offers accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street... We only stayed for one night but totally enjoyed our stay! Pedro was so nice and organized a taxi from the airport for us, so we didn't have to worry about that at arrival late in the evening. He also gave us a ride to the citycentre with our luggage the next morning. Breakfast was perfect, the room clean and comfortable as well as the bathroom. We can recommend La Casa Guesthouse without hesitation and would stay here again for sure.
