I had a rental car so getting around was very easy, but Valparaíso buses are efficient and Google maps public transport option will tell you which route to take. The room was nice and airy, with a comfortable bed. But really what makes this place are the hosts! Luz and Tulio are lovely people who made me feel like I was a visiting relative rather than a tourist in a hotel! The breakfast with the home made bread was a great touch too. Easily my favorite stay in Chile!

Hostal F was a great stay. Valmue for money. A véranda and a balcony directly westward cool mornings and fantastic sunsets. The central beach and a more quiet beach within 5 to 10 min walk. The host and his family was very helpful. Remember to ask if you need or miss anything. The town is active with good places to eat. There is an active fishing harbor and fish market lively markets and good routes for shorter walks 1 to 6 km. You can take the local busses to neighboring towns. Everyone we meet where friendly and keen to help In a nice way. We felt safe and in good hands. 😊☺️

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. Everything, location, extremely welcoming friendly staff, restaurants, markets, etc…all right there in front of you. If ever I’m in Vina del Mar in the future again I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
