The place was beautiful and an authentic Japanese house, which I loved. But still near the town facilities. The owner was flexible about the time of arrival and took the time to show me the place when I arrived. He was really friendly and professional. His English is great and he had a printed map with all restaurants, shops, tourism office, etc near the guest house. I arrived quite late so his help was really nice to find a restaurant easily. The restaurant was delicious, he was of great advice. The place had many useful appliances and products (hair dryer, shampoo, washing machine, 2 bathrooms, new earplugs in the room, very comfortable futon, separate toilets, very well furnished kitchen). You can leave anytime you want before 10:00, really flexible.

El Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo, inaugurado en 2015, ofrece habitaciones compartidas mixtas y solo para mujeres con wifi gratis. La estación de Dogo Onsen está a 4 minutos a pie. Be sure to stay in this hostel during your stay in Matsuyama. The place is owned by a lovely couple and located right next to the famous Dogo Onsen in the Dogo district. Everything you ever wished to find in a hostel is here : - the owner is very helpfull and friendly - the place is well decorated and clean, with a cozy vibe - they have all the amneties - they sell cup noodle at very fair price, so you don't even need to go to the supermarket if you are hungry - they even lend shower pack to use at the Dogo Onsen 😭 A place I wish to stay another time when I will be back in Matsuyama

伯方plus+ está en Imabari, a 35 km de Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, estacionamiento privado gratis, terraza y zona de parrilla. Absolutely amazing stay, somewhat modern classic meets japanese style room. The building looks brand new. There is an amazing scent of fresh wood which is the house made of. Room looked traditional, tatami on the floor and futons in the corner of the room for sleeping. Very nice and cozy with breathtaking view from our room. The owners were being incredibly nice and even recommended some restaurants and arranged reservation for us. I can only recommend. We stayed only one night on our Shimanami kaido cycling route but it was a really pleasant experience.

El ゲストハウス 西村サイクル（24C) se encuentra en Izume y tiene jardín y terraza. El alojamiento cuenta con salón común y cocina compartida. Todas las habitaciones están equipadas con TV de pantalla plana. The host was super friendly and helped us in renting e-bikes and reservations in the very nearby restaurants. A big supermarket is also around the corner. We can definitely recommend going to Nametoko gorge. You can do this with e-bikes.

El OMISHIMA SPACE OMOYA se encuentra en Kamiura y tiene jardín y terraza. Cuenta con cocina compartida, salón compartido y wifi gratis en todas las instalaciones. Perfect. We stayed halfway through completing the Shimanami Kaido. Great location, signs make it easy to find. Only just off the route and right near the halfway point. Great facilities and everything we needed for a relaxing night.

あかがね荘 se encuentra en Sumino y dispone de bicicletas gratis, jardín, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Hay vistas a la pileta. Outstanding property with all the amenities you could want for a family retreat. With optional Karaoke, Large Outdoor Bath, and Yakiniku (BBQ), we spent more time at the house then we did away from it. The house is nestled in a private bamboo forest with multiple outdoor hammocks and one indoor hammock to enjoy. The building itself appears to be very new and was very clean. We had a toddler in our party and were provided with a diaper pail as well as baby shower supplies. We requested the optional outdoor bath, for each night of our stay, and there was a bucket of rubber duckies that filled the large bath much to our toddler's delight. There were also board games and coloring supplies available to entertain our children. The property owners even provided home made mochi and shaved ice! All in all this was the highlight of our trip around Japan and a memory my children will never forget. 10/10 would recommend this property to families or couples looking for a private getaway.
