The town is very cute and the house is just incredible. It had everything a person could ask for in an accommodation. Everything works perfectly. The design is very beautiful. The house is even more beautiful in real life. I will never forget it. I think I told Assi how much I loved it too many times :) Assi was the most helpful host, he was very friendly, curious to know about my trip, he even picked me up from the station when I unfortunately missed the train. And dropped me off to the bus stop when I wanted to visit the near village. I hope to visit it again in future. Thank you again, thank you very much.

This guest house features free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. The location might seem a little far from the train stations, but the host offered afternoon pick up and morning drop off services. (If you don't have a lot of luggage to carry, the walk is easy enough too.) I saw information that guests can rent a bicycle now too, although I didn't ask about that. The room and bathroom had everything I needed. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming (and spoke English too), and the facilities were clean and comfortable. As mentioned in the information, they do have pets, but don't let that scare you off if you aren't a pet person -- the animals didn't seem particularly interested in the guests anyway.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the garden, Tajimi Guest House is set in the middle of nature, 3 km from Tajimi Station. Nyakuichioji Shrine is beside the property and a mountain stream flows through the property premises. The property was beautiful and thoughtful. The mid-century furniture and beautiful ceramics on display made the accommodation feel very peaceful and homely. The doors opened up onto a peaceful garden with a creek running through it. Will definitely return next time we are in Japan. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Just a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Train Station and Takayama Nohi Bus Center, Guesthouse Tomaru offers an renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Sanmachi Important Preservation District is a 10-minute stroll. The location of the hostel is pretty close to the station and very convenient. In the lobby, they offer warm Japanese tea for free. And the public area is also comfortable and can communicate with other travelers if you want. The room and bed are clean and warm, with tatami usage and traditional Japanese style. It is a special experience. The hostel owener is also friendly, and kind to offer detailed tourism information for the traveler. Wonderful accommodation memory! :)

The nearest airport is Toyama Airport, 82 km from ROMANSTAY. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We stayed for one night during the Takayama festival as a couple but it can accommodate more guests. The open-air bath was fun and easy to use with privacy.

House was equiped with kitchen aminities with spices, juice and drinks. There was washing machine with dryer with enough amount of detergent capsules. This helped us to wash and dry our cloths.
