Absolutely beautiful and perfectly set up for a comfortable stay. Stunning garden, fantastic facilities and great communal spaces and it even has its own private onsen. Everything was immaculate and clean and it has everything you need. The host is welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable and the house cat is cool too. Can not recommend this amazing place highly enough. It is one of the nicest places I stayed in my month in Japan.

The owner was flexible about the time of arrival and took the time to show me the place when I arrived. He was really friendly and professional. His English is great and he had a printed map with all restaurants, shops, tourism office, etc near the guest house. I arrived quite late so his help was really nice to find a restaurant easily. The restaurant was delicious, he was of great advice. The place had many useful appliances and products (hair dryer, shampoo, washing machine, 2 bathrooms, new earplugs in the room, very comfortable futon, separate toilets, very well furnished kitchen). You can leave anytime you want before 10:00, really flexible.

Guesthouse Kusunoki was wonderful. The guesthouse was quaint, artistic, and impeccably clean. The owner, Katsumori san, is kind and very detail-oriented, and you can tell that he puts his heart and soul into running this guesthouse. I loved my stay here, it was the highlight of my trip.

Featuring tatami (woven-straw) flooring and Japanese futon bedding, Share House Amigos is situated in Onomichi and has a terrace and a shared lounge. The staff were lovely and spoke English and Spanish. The location of this traditional Japanese house is convenient, walking distance to the JR station and the ferry for cycling Shimanami kaido. We were provided with ham, eggs, bread and a fully equipped kitchen to make meals. Very quiet and comfortable stay. Flexible check in time.

Situated next to a rice field, 88 House Hiroshima is a non-smoking accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property. From JR Hiroshima Station, the property is a 25-minute bus ride away. Kengo will host you in a way that will make you stay forever. This house is a gem just a few minutes from central Hiroshima. Waking up in the morning to the sound of the nearby river and the great yard was a treat. This is a typical japanese house and I felt in heaven.
