Guesthouse was very clean, the host was always available to help and really welcoming. The showers had great pressure and the toilets were always clean. The location was great for snow sports, free shuttle bus right outside the door to the slopes. The Kitchen was very clean and well kitted out - the dining / living space was also very well set up. Lockers were spacious and there is an area at the front door to keep your snow sports equipment. The people this venue attracts are well mannered and very friendly - I look forward to my next stay. Awsome apartment with the most friendly staff we have ever met! the apartment was big and clean, very comfortable and big bathroom. It was in a great location to explore the area. we like that the coffee shop was really next to us, and we could enjoy fresh coffee and juice every morning 😊 There are no stairs outside and inside the apartment, so it was very accessible with big luggage. Definitely would like to come again!

Cam the lodge manager is an absolute legend!! helped us out getting to and from the lodge to the bus stop - breakfast was 11/10 and would happily pay money for the included breakfast we received, Cafe quality!!

Truly the best guest house experience I’ve every had. You can tell the owner really cares about the guests. You have everything you need from the shower to a comfy bed. I felt at home right away here. She even helped me figure out what I was going to do for my second day in the area! Truly amazing.

Shioriya offers accommodation in Nagano, 11 km from Zenkoji Temple. Popular points of interest around the property include Togakushi Shrine and Old Kawanakajima Battlefield. I absolutely LOVED Shioriya. The owners were friendly, kind and beautiful people. They gave me lots of advice on places to see, how to get there, where to eat etc. The room was immaculate and in pristine condition. Really clean and comfortable. I was very well looked after.
