熱海温泉 実の別荘 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.5 km of Atami Sun Beach and 31 km of Shuzen-ji Temple. This was the best place we stayed in Japan during our 4 weeks of travel. We did not expect it to be so spacious and inviting. The hostess was very attentive, always eager to make our stay pleasant. We felt like at home, even better than home. The house itself is extremely beautiful, the views are fantastic, and the onsen in the house was very good, too. We will definitely stay here again next time, and we are telling all our friends to come to Japan and stay here. The town of Atami exceeded our expectations, too.

Situated within 12 km of Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival and 50 km of Shizuoka Stadium ECOPA, オーシャンビューゲストハウスEat&Stay ROMEY features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Shizuoka. Loved our stay! We felt right at home at the bed and breakfast. Romey, the owner was very friendly and gave us a lot of useful recommendations. Location was great, right next to the sea and a lot of good food. We were greeted with a beautiful sunrise in the morning.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. Its a good location for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a small town. We stayed over the weekend, its easy to take the train to other towns (although it doesnt go that frequently). The nearby Hokkawa onsen (Kurone iwaburo) has to be one of our favorite onsens we have visited, with the bath facing out to the sea, really recommend a visit!! The owner of the guesthous is very sweet and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Will definitely come back!

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. This 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and full-day security. Lovely staff!!!! There was also a coffee dripper and coffee in the kitchen which was really, really appreciated (need my morning coffee!) The general vibe of the hostel was also really nice, I would love to come back during the busy period when there are a lot more guests staying.

Set just 42 km from Koibito Misaki Cape, Guesthouse SORA offers accommodation in Minamiizu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.

Kisami Ohama beach is just a 3-minute walk from, Oli Oli Guesthouse in Shimoda featuring a terrace and bar. The property is located 7 km from Shirahama Ohama Beach. Staff were amazing and super friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and very good value for money. They were very accomodating and understanding with our dog as well.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, JOYinn is located in Izu Kogen. There is a free shuttle pick-up and drop-off service available for guests from Izu-Kogen Station. I asked to reserve a parking spot, I received the response very quickly. The hotel was easy to find. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and detailed information about the stay. He really did his best to make our stay comfortable, what a lovely person! The room was clean and spacious, with sea view. In the morning you are able to see a breathtaking sunrise. From here you can visit many beautiful places. The price is low compared to other stays is the neighborhood. I definitely recommend staying here, I am sure you’ll love it!

Guest House Tokiwa offers dorm beds and affordable Japanese-style private rooms, free WiFi, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen. Located in Fujinomiya City, the closest town to Mt. Very welcoming owner, speaks really good english, knows the fujinomiya very well.

J-Garden features a tennis court, a garden and a private-use hot spring bath, a 11-minute walk from Tomito port. We had a very cozy and relaxed stay at J-Garden, though we had to change our room once because the first room was too enclosed. The hosts where kind and understanding, and this place is absolutely a gem. It's in walking distance to the coastline hike and by car (or public transport) you got a lot of opportunities too see the beauty of this Peninsula.
