Guesthouse Iwase ligger i Toyama, 2,2 km från Toyama-kojo och 14 km från Toyama Family Park. We were happy to be walking distance to the beach on a hot day. The location is very accessible by transit. We loved how quiet the area was. The neighbours were very friendly - we ended up watching fireworks with both the host and the neighbours. There was an unexpected festival we came across (Minato), and it was an excellent, friendly experience. The host was very communicative and helpful.

It is good for hiking and biking (but beware of wild animals). It is a family run guest house and the owner Kota and his wive are super friendly and welcoming. In the small villages nearby you can find some nice restaurants serving different kind of great food, also meats and vegetables I have never had before. You can also eat delicious meals for breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse, what I can definitely recommend. The beds are comfy and the facilities are always clean.
