The beds were comfy, everything was very clean and the theme was really cool. We had an issue with the train from Oslo getting stopped due to track repair and ended up being 6 hrs late to check-in, but the hosts were very gracious. This is great value for the area and having a kitchen helped save even more money. There were plenty of bathrooms too. Highly recommend!

From April to mid-October, Vangsgaarden Gastropub serves meals and drinks in a cosy atmosphere. A buffet breakfast is offered every day at Aabelheim, the oldest building on the site. Our 2nd floor room in the main building was small but comfortable and beautifully decorated. Stunning views of the fjord and the sunset. Lots of choices for breakfast. We also enjoyed our meal at the hotel’s Gastropub.

Lærdalsøren Motor Guesthouse is the perfect hotel for car and motorcycle tourists. The hotel is surrounded by fantastic driving roads deep in the Sognefjord. From us they get tips on where to drive to get the best nature experience in Norway. This hotel is so nice and cozy that I was sad that we need to leave it. It is pet friendly - dogs are allowed to be everywhere and the staff is really friendly and nice. Hotel is located od great location and it is full of beautiful photos and details. I highly recommend it and will be happy to come back again.
