El Nutheim Gjestgiveri es un hotel de madera de gestión familiar construido en 1877. Las vistas del hotel al valle Flatdal son famosas y atrajeron a pintores y artistas durante generaciones. The four course dinner was delicious and beautifully presented! Ellen, the owner, told us the interesting history about the area before dinner. The next day she gave us a tour of the parsonage and chapel, which had been her childhood home. She made our stay so personal and special. It was a rainy fall day outside but inside it was cozy and we were able to sit by the fire for a relaxing morning.

The 1770 stabbur was very roomy and well-equipped with bathroom, kitchen, TV. I loved the history of the place—like a museum. Short drive to Bo or Lunde, Telemark. Torstein and Goril were charming hosts. I plan to return and recommend to my family.
