It has been obviously been newly renovated and the best use made of the space available. Great size bathroom with walk in shower. Good size galley kitchen and a cosy living area. A double and single bedroom upstairs (be aware that in keeping with the vintage of the property the stairs are not for the faint hearted but there is a good sturdy handrail). Clean throughout and with all the usual amenities. Parking to the rear of the property. The highlight has to be the gorgeous cottage garden which is enclosed and was absolute heaven for my two dogs. The host Lee is super friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend and hope to return for more that two nights next time.

Wish I was staying longer.

Ponúka bezplatné Wi-Fi a terasu.... Hartoft St is an absolute gem of a place. Our group consisted of two adults and two kids and it was the perfect base for our trip to York. The location is ideal - 30 seconds walk to the river and a 15 minute walk into the heart of York along the river or by the main roads. Parking is available outside and we had no problem finding a space. The property itself has everything you need and we found it to be a truly welcoming and comfortable setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.
