BIG4 Iluka on Freycinet

Freycinet National Park, Coles Bay

BIG4 Iluka on Freycinet offers guests self catered accommodation just a minutes' walk from the white sand beaches of Coles Bay. This holiday park has your meals sorted with a café, restaurant & bar, takeaway and convenience store located onsite. It’s clean and looked newly renovated. It’s modern and spacious, equipped with the pots, pans and utensils. It’s awesome. It was freezing when we arrived and we really liked the electric blanket. On top of that, we arrived late, and we are super thankful that though the staffs have knocked off, they have left the keys there for us to facilitate check in. Additionally, I requested for late check out and Emma was kind enough to extend a couple of hours for us. Super grateful to the team there! The place was splendid and close to the National park!

Swansea Holiday Park Tasmania

Swansea

50 minutes' drive from Coles Bay, Swansea Holiday Park Tasmania features barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. It is adjacent to the Swansea Golf Course and is a 10-minute walk from Swansea’s town centre. The units were of good size with a small living room, large clean fully equipped kitchen/eating area, bedroom and bathroom. The light was good and when we opened the windows had great airflow. Cute place. We actually never met any staff as we arrived late (easy checking instructions left for us) and both mornings there we departed before the office opened.

Discovery Parks - Devonport

Devonport

Located directly on the banks of Tasmania’s Mersey River, Discovery Parks - Devonport features a children’s playground and a games room. There are self-catering facilities in each holiday cabin and cottage. Booked a 3-night stay in a Standard Cabin Bungalow. Our stay was enjoyable and exceptional as it totally exceeded our expectations. There is a free parking space right next to each bungalow, so it was very easy to get our stuff in and out of the car to and from the cabin. The cabin was clean and well-equipped with everything we need. Stepping into the cabin, first is the living/dining area cum kitchen. It was fitted with a stove and kitchenware (possible to cook if you want to), microwave oven (quick heating/cooking, which we used for our brekkie and dinner), large wash basin with cleaning equipment, pantry (with coffee/tea and water boiler) and freezer/refrigerator (Better than most hotels! We got to store our ice cream in it). The round dining table was large enough for 4-6 guests and there was a couch for lounging while watching the TV. There were two bedrooms - one on each side of the living/dining area. One was fitted with two bunk beds (sleeps 4 people). Bunk beds look rather small for larger-sized adults but was alright for us. The other bedroom had a king/queen sized bed with a huge wardrobe that spans the breadth of the room. The beds came with cleaned sheets and duvets/quilts which were perfect for the cold weather at night. I myself ended up sleeping on the couch after watching TV as it was comfy too. The air conditioning and heating was good and kept us warm throughout the night. The toilet was clean and fitted with day lighting, warm heated lighting and ventilation fan. It was very spacious in the toilet, making it super easy for changing up. Under the wash basin was a professional hair-dryer which we absolutely enjoyed using. The shower area was also clean and fitted with a hand-held shower head. Lastly, the price for this 3-night stay for our family is really unbeatable for the number of pax. We had a next-door neighbour who raved about it for two days too HAHA. I'm pretty sure they enjoyed their stay thoroughly...

Swansea

At Swansea Beach Chalets we offer a range of comfortable, contemporary one and two bedroom chalets.

Our beautiful beachfront location offers unrivalled panoramic views across Great Oyster Bay to the Freycinet Peninsular. I had a wonderful time at this house, and it was the experience I had always dreamt of. This house is not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated. Every detail exudes warmth and care, making me feel incredibly fortunate to have spent this precious time here. The morning sunlight streaming through the windows brought endless tranquility. This stay has given me a whole new appreciation, and it has made me more eager to share these beautiful memories with others. Once again, thanks for providing me with such a marvelous accommodation experience. I look forward to visiting again in the future, hoping to stay once more.

Bruny Island Escapes and Hotel Bruny

Alonnah

Bruny Island Escapes and Hotel Bruny offers a wide range of accommodation options right across Bruny Island, from affordable motel suite accommodation, to two bedroom cottages and our premium Hotel Bruny Lodge Rooms. The property was perfect, but they did not have my Booking.com reservation. They took care of me and my husband and upgraded our room. It was disturbing that they had no record of a booking from June 2022. It was solved because the accommodation was not full. If you have information on why this happened, let me know. Since I had not been asked for payment prior to arrival, I attempted to contact Hotel Bruny several times. No response to texts. No reservation at the hotel,
