We stayed just for few hours before tour to Ijen. We wish we could stay longer. Very nice and quiet hotel with amazing bungalows. Very good shower with hot water. Very pleasant smell in the room. Friendly staff, especially girl from reception, all they speak fluently English. Possibility to order food. Swimming pool, shared kitchen. I even saw toys for children.

Yabbiekayu Eco-Bungalows is a recently renovated holiday park in Yogyakarta, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. I am so impressed by this eco bungalow and I can only say I regret only being able to spend a night there as we have a pretty packed schedule. This accommodation is ran by an Australian and Indonesian, and its the perfect marriage of both cultures - from very authentic Indonesian styled huts to farm to table cuisine, it really feels like you're whisked away into a magical world with amazing food, a very cute stray cat called Jamal and a serene environment. I love this place.

The owners Tono and Astrid are going out of their way to accommodate you and so will the kind staff. Upon arriving, we received an upgrade to the newly built family room, which features two separate rooms within the bungalow. Kayaking is free and great fun to explore the nearby mangroves, the small island ahead and Bobby Beach on the other side of the laguna. Snorkeling is fantastic here, as the coral reef can be found literally outside the bungalows. On the second day, we went on a boat trip to other islands, where we snorkelled at multiple gorgeous locations and ate lunch on a pristine and remote island - it was such an amazing day! The third day, Astrid took us onto a fun hike which rewarded us with breathtaking views over the island, ending at Bukit Love viewpoint. We also took advantage of Astrid being a certified Yoga teacher, having yoga lessons right by the dock as the sun set over the laguna - you really can't beat this setting. Our final day marked the end of Ramadan, so the entire family went out of their way and took us to town for a fun parade organized by the island community. A truly memorable experience! Thanks a bunch for your hospitality, we are leaving the island refreshed and with much love in our hearts.

Boasting garden views, Mojosurf Camp Red Island features accommodation with water sports facilities and a patio, around 300 metres from Pulau Merah Beach. The staff were fantastic and worked hard to make all their visitors happy. The food was amazing and an extra shout out goes to the kitchen staff who worked so hard. Our host Nural was so friendly and inclusive.
