El Rura Raya Homestay está situado en Rantepao y presenta un estilo tradicional de Torajan. Las habitaciones ofrecen comodidades modernas y presentan una decoración tradicional. Our host was most helpful, friendly. She prepared us tasteful breakfasts and dinners, always taking into consideration our wishes. The room was large, airy, very comfortable. There was always cold drinks in the fridge.

El Happy Gecko Dive Resort ofrece alojamiento con centro de buceo en la isla de Bunaken, en Célebes Septentrional, a pocos pasos de playas mundialmente famosas y de zonas para practicar buceo. Snorkeling on the dive boat was excellent. Felt I was being looked out for. Two different locations each morning. Great dive crew. Bed in the cabin was comfortable.

Guesthouse Guesthouse. El The 4 Fish se encuentra en Tongkaina. Se encuentra a solo 18 km de Manado y a 10 minutos a pie de un centro de buceo. Un lugar ideal para permanecer lejos del bullicio y contaminación de la ciudad. El personal tiene a mano todo lo necesario para ayudar a los huéspedes en materia de desplazamientos, información de buceo etc. Junto a la estancia hay un Centro de buceo para bucear en Bunaken (Lulay) que funciona realmente bien sin precios inflados y con muy buena comunicación y trato con The 4 fish. Muy recomendable The 4 Fish y si tenéis alguna petición especial, hacédselo saber que 100% seguro os echarán un cable. El centro de buceo también tiene una calidad impecable. También os recomendamos que probéis la cocina de The 4 Fish!!!!

El 3WILL Bunaken Dive Resort está situado en Bunaken, a poca distancia de hermosos lugares para practicar snorkel y buceo. I originally only had 4 nights booked at 3WILL Bunaken but stayed for 14 nights! That should actually say enough if you were wondering if you should book! Being a solo female traveler, I'm always a bit cautious, especially traveling to off the beaten track locations, however all my questions were answered promptly and accurately. The transfer arranged by 3WILL from Manado Airport was efficient and definitely worth paying for compared to the irregular schedule of the public boat to the island. 3WILL are also able to do transfers at night, which I originally thought was not possible. The resort is beautifully located right by the seaside and there's a beach on which you can sunbathe or relax in hammocks. You can snorkel the coral reef right in front of the resort or you can join the dive boat to snorkel while the divers are diving. During the day there's large butterflies everywhere in the well maintained garden and at night I was mesmerised by fireflies! Being a divemaster, I was predominantly there for the diving which did not disappoint! Every dive was exciting and filled with an abundance of sealife! They were willing to also arrange a dive trip to Bangka Island which was very nice! I can highly recommend the night dives, as unlike most dive shops, they actually do a boat dive and not just a shore dive! The dive room is well setup with storage for gear and equipment. The dive guides, Jho and Elly were great at pointing out creatures small and large and knew the dive sites extremely well! The boat crew always made sure our gear was ready and served us fruit, biscuits and coffee during surface interval with a smile! The food was well prepared and a good combination of western and Indonesian cuisine, served buffet style, three times a day in the restaurant. They were also happily willing to cater for various dietary requirements. If you’re lucky, the local band might play during dinner which was very entertaining and a highlight of my time there!

El Cosmos Bungalows está situado en la playa Bara de Bira y ofrece alojamiento sencillo en bungalows frente al mar con vistas al mar. Hay aparcamiento gratuito. Amazing view and clean place. The staff was so nice and add some papaya to our breakfast and give me some bananas for a snack. They organise a nice boat for us for the day and we had a great time

El Cakalang Resort se encuentra en la isla de Bunaken, junto a la playa de Pangalisan, en un lugar donde se puede practicar submarinismo y snorkel. Hay restaurante y recepción 24 horas. The food was very good. Ferdinand was great, the ferry wasn't running so he was able to find alternative transportation back and forth so we didn't miss out on our time at Bunaken. The reef is right in front of the facility.

El Gardenia Country Inn está ubicado en una montaña con vistas a los alrededores, a 10 minutos en coche del mercado tradicional de Tomohon. The property is just gorgeous. It's big, so you can roam around seeing the views towards the volcanoes. It's full of flowers everywhere, and there are tons of wild birds that visit the place, so it's a great place for birders and photographers. The area looks more like a park or garden, just beautiful. The restaurant area is very cozy, and you can easily spend a few hours relaxing on the terrace. We also liked the staff, always ready to help and assist you. The manager is very friendly and communicative, with great insight into the area and local costumes. The cabins are spacious, clean, and comfortable , with great views from the front terrace. They are located on the edge of the property, so they have a lot of privacy.
