Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo is a holiday park set in a historic building in Guarda, 12 km from Guarda Cathedral. Everything here is superb. Our unit was on 2 floors - all spotless. Far more space than we needed. Wonderful gardens with a large pool. Parking right outside our apartment. The property is secure with gated access. Gorgeous views all round. A really lovely place. Highly recommend We ate at a super local restaurant called “Ponto de Encontro”. 3 courses for 2 people plus drinks and all for €37. A great stopover and only sorry it was just for one night

Set 11 km from Mangualde Live Artificial Beach, Quinta da Abadia offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an outdoor swimming pool and free bikes. Beautiful surrounds with a step in the elegant past. Lovely grounds with a fabulous pool. The room we had has an amazing dining room that can seat many.

A fantastic place to stay for a night or two on top of the mountains to get away from it all. The chalet was great, clean, slept really well, and had everything we needed, aircon was a welcomed relief in the 40 degree heat. Particularly enjoyed the buffet restaurant, with a fantastic selection of food and the service was really nice.
