Ajaloolises hoones paiknev puhkepark Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo on 12 km kaugusel Guarda katedraalist. Basseinist avaneb vaade mägedele. Everything here is superb. Our unit was on 2 floors - all spotless. Far more space than we needed. Wonderful gardens with a large pool. Parking right outside our apartment. The property is secure with gated access. Gorgeous views all round. A really lovely place. Highly recommend We ate at a super local restaurant called “Ponto de Encontro”. 3 courses for 2 people plus drinks and all for €37. A great stopover and only sorry it was just for one night

Quinta da Abadia asub 11 km kaugusel Mangualde Live kunstlikust rannast. Kohapeal on terrassiga majutusruumid, välibassein ja tasuta jalgrattad. Beautiful surrounds with a step in the elegant past. Lovely grounds with a fabulous pool. The room we had has an amazing dining room that can seat many.

Vila da Laje - Onde a Natureza o envolve asub Mangualde Live kunstlikust rannast 27 km ja Serra da Estrela looduspargist 45 km kaugusel. the little stone house was perfect for two adults and a small dog for the month we stayed on the property. the views of the Serra da Estrela are spectacular.

Mägikuurordis asuv Luna Chalets da Montanha - Serra da Estrela paikneb Covilhã piirkonnas Serra da Estrela südames. Majutusasutusest avaneb panoraamvaade mägedele. A fantastic place to stay for a night or two on top of the mountains to get away from it all. The chalet was great, clean, slept really well, and had everything we needed, aircon was a welcomed relief in the 40 degree heat. Particularly enjoyed the buffet restaurant, with a fantastic selection of food and the service was really nice.
