Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo is a holiday park set in a historic building in Guarda, 12 km from Guarda Cathedral. Everything here is superb. Our unit was on 2 floors - all spotless. Far more space than we needed. Wonderful gardens with a large pool. Parking right outside our apartment. The property is secure with gated access. Gorgeous views all round. A really lovely place. Highly recommend We ate at a super local restaurant called “Ponto de Encontro”. 3 courses for 2 people plus drinks and all for €37. A great stopover and only sorry it was just for one night

Beautiful surrounds with a step in the elegant past. Lovely grounds with a fabulous pool. The room we had has an amazing dining room that can seat many.

Located within 27 km of Mangualde Live Artificial Beach and 45 km of Parque Natural Serra da Estrela, Vila da Laje - Onde a Natureza o envolve - Serra da Estrela provides rooms with air conditioning... the little stone house was perfect for two adults and a small dog for the month we stayed on the property. the views of the Serra da Estrela are spectacular.

In the Covilhã region, Luna Chalés de Montanha is situated in a mountain resort in the heart of Serra da Estrela and offers panoramic mountain views. A fantastic place to stay for a night or two on top of the mountains to get away from it all. The chalet was great, clean, slept really well, and had everything we needed, aircon was a welcomed relief in the 40 degree heat. Particularly enjoyed the buffet restaurant, with a fantastic selection of food and the service was really nice.
