There is no breakfast. The view was good. The host was pleasant. It was a good base to visit Parksville and Cathedral Grove.

When I made the original booking, it was somewhat misrepresented at first as the booking stated "tjhe whole place is yours!", but this was not the case. However, I called to see what could be done as I knew there would be an extra person coming and they accomodated me with renting me another room no problem at all! Lily is a fantastic host and I only wish I had more time to chat with her and listen to her stories =-> The views of the islands and sunsets were spectacular and the neighbourhood is very quiet. Though bathrooms are shared, there are only a couple of rooms on each floor and there were never any issues at all.

This was a lovely property to stay at. The room is very spacious and immaculately clean. The area is terrific and it is very quiet at night. You have access to a well equipped kitchen and we wished we were staying longer as it was such a nice place to go. The hostess was warm and welcoming and check in was very easy.

Paula was a great host offering a good description of restaurants close by and providing fresh baked sourdough bread our first morning. The attention to details of items offered was appreciated. Would definitely recommend booking this stay.
