Offerring free WiFi and BBQ facilities, Grapevines Boutique Accommodation is 2 minutes’ drive from Hunter Valley Gardens. Set on 12 acres, guests at this property can take a stroll around the lush gardens, or relax on the terrace and take in the panoramic views of the vineyards and mountains. It’s a family-run-in business, so we got a very warm welcome like some part of them. The owner is so helpful and friendly giving us lots of useful local information, but very respectful of our private time. The location is great in the heart of the vineyard zone, easy to take a short drive to many cellar doors and wine houses. Just some units of property, we didn’t need to stand in line for checking in and out. The room is spacious and spotless with cosy decoration. There is a small succulent and rose garden in front of the room, and panoramic views only some steps beyond. Waking up in the early morning, we enjoy a fantastic stroll through the vineyard, snapshots of kangaroos and floating balloons in the sky.

Situated on the edge of the Brokenback Mountain Range, Elfin Hill Vineyard Accommodation boasts a swimming pool and free on-site parking. All accommodation features a patio offering panoramic mountain and vineyard views. Marie and Mark went out of their way to make our holiday fabulous. Breakfast was excellent. Location is quiet with amazing views.

Set on 25 acres, in the heart of wine country, Red Door Collective - RDC Vineyard Estate enjoys breathtaking views of the Brokenback Ranges and is home to one of the smallest commercial vineyards in the Hunter Valley. What an amazing property! If I could give more than 10 stars, I would. We stayed in the Cabernet cottage/suite which was this cute apartment. We saw Kangaroos on the property, and it was so quiet and peaceful amongst the vineyards. The bed was so comfortable with high quality bedding. The full hot breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed visiting with the hosts. I would highly recommend RDC for your stay in the Hunter Valley!

Guests can horse ride, play golf and go on chocolate and cheese factory tours. nice view, nice family host for wine tasting and introduce the wine factory. Two friendly dogs

The property is non-smoking and is located 49 km from Hunter Medical Research Institute. the property was lovely very clean and had everything we needed and Greta location cafe super close as well as shops

Situated in Wollombi, in a historic building, 40 km from Hunter Valley Gardens, Capers Cottage and Barn Accommodation is a guest house with a garden and terrace. This guest house offers accommodation with a balcony. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The historic village of Wollombi was very scenic, we didn't have time to explore it as we were there for our daughter's wedding at a nearby retreat. We were warmly greeted by our host Jane, who took us on a tour of the main house which was a magnificent example of an early colonial mansion, very historic in origin. The Capers Guesthouse had a choice of three separate buildings for a stay, we had the Barn which was a real highlight as it was literally a slab barn with beautiful interior, so rustic but comfortable. The furniture inside was a collection of antiques which reflected the heritage atmosphere of the Barn and town. All modern facilities for cooking, the supplied breakfast had a choice of cereals or full cooked breakfast. The ingredients supplied were the best quality, tomatoes, huge mushrooms, eggs and the best sausages and bacon I've tasted in a long time. The bed was a huge king size, very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and supplied by fresh rainwater from tanks. We want to try the other buildings for a stay in the future and have the pleasure of a historic building stay.

The property's Cellar Door is open daily from 10:00-17:00 where you can enjoy a relaxed tasting of boutique wines, handpicked from McCaffrey's Estate vineyard. There are also chickens and ducks onsite, providing fresh eggs for guests as well as plenty of kangaroos to watch in the vineyard. Location was central to the local wineries and restaurants. Hosts we very friendly and approachable. The pool was amazing. It was great to see the kangaroos in amongst the vines in the morning. The breakfast and wine provided were excellent. The accommodation was really well equipped, homely and the beds were super comfortable.
