Set 800 metres from the Market Square in Bruges, Snuffel Youth Hostel is housed in a modern-style building with an interior garden and terrace. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The hostel has a bar, where guests can try various types of Belgian beer. Both hostel and bar only accept card payments.

From the staffs, to the room who has a space enough for everyone, the facilities, the hostel itself, the location.. everything!! I wouldn’t think twice to book there again if I ever come back to Bruges.

Hostel Lybeer Bruges is located in the Historical Centre of Bruges. The accommodation offers

The dorm rooms at Hostel Lybeer Bruges feature hypo allergenic bedding and high quality beds. Each room has an individual design and a shared bathroom. They feature parquet flooring and free WiFi.

The receptionists were extremely nice. You get a beer token once you check in which you can use to try a local beer for a cheap price at the bar. A coat hanger would have been nice but it wasn't a big deal as I just hung my jacket around the bedpost. Apart from that the room had almost everything you could ask for (individual power outlet and reading lamp, safe for storing items, etc.) and the washrooms were very clean. I get that people complain about there not being enough showers but it's a hostel so either just wait your turn or don't do it when everyone one else wants do and it will be fine. I was also able to leave my backpack in the luggage room until evening free of charge. If I ever come to Bruges again I will gladly return there.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Clean, simple rooms. Nice outdoor area. Good choice for a budget (as cheapest in city). For 1 night is good, more is questionable.

Every expectation about a hostel was met. It was a nice place, the location was close enough to the city center and it was a good solution to visit around and enjoy the place. We weren’t expecting too much for the price and got exactly what we wanted. It is a good place to stay if you are young and/or a backpacker.

Great location, cheap drinks and food at the bar. They have indoor parking space for bicycles too. The apartment was nice with a spacious living room. Overall very acceptable for the price and the location, being in the expensive Bruges of course.

We are an older couple travelling around Europe by train. At Snuffel youth Hostel we were made to feel very welcome. It was in a great location, just around the corner from the beautiful square in Bruges. The room was very spacious and clean. We would have loved to stay there longer but unfortunately we had to leave early the following morning.

beautiful hostel in a GREAT location (literally not even 10 minutes to the central square of Brugge) and the beds and rooms were really comfortable. bathrooms were nice and clean too and best hostel showers I have seen (they actually have a door so your clothes don’t get wet!). very reasonably priced bar as well and a big kitchen / dining area. I also felt safe in this hostel as a female traveller.
