Located 700 metres from Curaçao Maritime Musem in Willemstad, First Hostel Curacao offers an outdoor pool and free WiFi. There is a restaurant, a café-bar and a small supermarket on site.

Guests at First Hostel Curacao can relax and socialize in the shared lounge or outside on the terrace. The property also offers a tour desk and laundry facilities.

The facilities are really nice, multiple pools, the beach pool by the bar is really nice. Nice clean room. Nice decoration, cool facades, interesting story of the place and the neighborhood. Very close to the city center. Food at the restaurant was decent. We saw in other reviews they didn't serve food at the restaurant after breakfast, but that wasn't the case, they did have a few options for dinner and lunch. Nothing too fancy, but pretty ok and at decent prices. They also have a minimarket open during the day.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Among the cheapest stays I was able to find, the unit had what we needed, two rooms a kitchen and a bathroom and air conditioning, there was parking in front of the room, generally speaking a safe neighborhood. Erminda who was our host was incredibly attentive, helpful, and kind, we had wifi and all the basic things needed.

Maybe I just had a bad experience so the good things about this property are minimal. Affordable rates, hot water, in a secured and safe location. Renting a car from the property was cheap, but you must pay for insurance. Photos of the studio are mostly accurate. The hostess Deborah was nice and took care of the needs I had, but the problem was that they should have already been taken care of before arrival.

It’s the best budget option for accommodation on Curaçao. The hostel is very beautiful and clean, the dorm with 16 beds didn’t actually feel like a dorm because it’s more like a cabin style with lots of privacy. It’s also very near to everything.

Everything was perfect, the whole team was incredible.. i had forgotten my snorkeling gear at the hostel after check out and they managed to have it delivered to me in the jan thiel B&B, the staff was amazing, my special cheers do Sarai! The hostel is located in the best area if you want to go out at night, very safe, the only thing is that they didnt have a stove for us to cook, other then that no other comments.

Great location. Close to town and beaches. Very safe. The corals are right next to the beach. The managers are very responsible and friendly, wonderful people. The supermarket is not within walking distance. But managers can always offer you a lift, and you can also use a taxi. Riding in a taxi is safe and convenient, there is an application for this. But taxis are not cheap. I recommend Curacao Luxury Holiday Rentals without a doubt.

Great location and very amazing hostel/hotel. It is like a little village with own "beach", supermarket, dive shop, pools, bars etc. Really amazing put together. Just know that the kitchen in the hostel has no cookingpit, so you can only make yourself noodlessoups with the watercooker if you wanna live on budget.
