Yusuf and Fathy were fantastic. Literally went out of their way to help by walking with to find good local food by coming hat was inexpensive. They called taxis and made delicious coffee. They also changed currency. Walking distance to one of the gates to the pyramid area.

The place has very good value for money and very suitable for solo male backpacker who looks for cheap accomodation that includes shared kitchen and washing machine. The location in Dersa is not in the middle of a tourist district but only one microbus away from the Great Pyramid of Giza on the west or Giza Metro Station on the east. Here you will feel how it's like to live like an avarage locals. Karim, the owner, is really friendly and will facilitate your need. All in all, I who originally booked the room for a day ended up staying for 2 weeks with all of the above considered.
