What a fantastic time my two dogs and I had here! We were greeted by the very helpful and friendly Tony who showed us round our room and the communal areas. He was very helpful and kicked our stay off to a wonderful start. It was just a one night stop over before an event in the area the next day but it felt like a mini holiday. The hostel is the most well equipped, clean and modern hostel I've ever stayed in! Everything you could possibly need during your stay, especially the kitchen facilities - free tea, coffee and cooking essentials were so helpful. Easy, free parking right outside the front door too. It was spacious and comfortable, truly dog friendly and the rooms were immaculate. Will definitely be back again when I'm next in the area.

Complimentary breakfast and tea and coffee in the communal kitchen. Good wifi coverage, we watched live TV on a laptop, children were able to go on their tablets. No tea making facilities in the room for obvious reasons as it is a hostel not a hotel! On the doorstep to fish and chips, ice cream parlour and a lovely walk around the harbour area. Perfect stopping point before we travelled onto Scotland.

A wide variety of options within strolling distance. Close to the harbour, with more eating options, and a market every Sunday morning. Lots of great places to visit in the area - castles and coast! Very comfy bed in the main bedroom (bunk beds in the second bedroom). Lots of games and books.
