I loved the lounge area on the second floor and the access to the open patio and restaurant. Overall, this place has everything, including a great location within walking distance to almost everything. 10 min walk to Rome Termini.

The hostel's location is really good. It's near the colosseum and few minutes walk to other sites like Trevi Fountain, Pantheon etc. The washrooms are cleaned everyday. Comfortable beds, decent breakfast. However, when I stayed I didn't really see any group of people together socializing. So you might have to go and initiate conversations with people just sitting and doing their work or drinking. Overall, a good place to stay.

The host was very kind and went out of his way to help me. To start with, the cab driver was trying to charge me 73 euros for a cab instead of the flat rate of 50 euros so I called our host and he talked to the cab driver so that I only had to pay the normal flat rate. I came to Rome to work on attaining my Italian citizenship. I do not speak Italian and the host came with me to the town hall to help translate. I found both of these things to be above and beyond.
