Czech Republic
The staff, especially the host Husne, were really helpful and accommodating. The hostel is close to metro and train stations, the main street, convenience stores, and esplanade, which made it a very good location. The room was equipped with an AC unit, so it was comfortable to stay in. The hostel also has a tattoo studio, so it's good if you like to get one like in my case. Kudos to Sevgi btw for a wonderful time at the studio.

There are large variations in cost for a room throughout Izmir. We did not know Ramadan was coming. Izmir was dearer than Istanbul. Certain streets are blocked in the evening which makes access much easier and safer. Lots of eateries. Noisy. Heavy traffic.

The building is very old, so the room and bathroom are quite dated. Towels and linens are mismatched and used, but seemed clean. It is significantly cheaper than every other place in Izmir, so you get what you pay for. Definitely a hostel vibe rather than a hotel.

Cute hotel with a lovely shared space on the second floor. We had a budget double room with external bathroom, bathroom was great, room was alright (basic but with everything you needed). Note: we didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast unfortunately.
